No more nebulizer

Alright one stomach bug later and one wheezing episode, but we are on the mend. Luckily it was Frances who got the barf virus because she has awesome aim! I mean most two year old aren't able to grab the bucket in the middle of the night and have it all go in. I must say the only incident we had was not on my watch...just saying.

We have now started to see the pulmonologist. 2 1/2 hours later and we have all new medicines (we will use saline, nasenex, singular, and another daily medication). They will be using a puffer so cross your fingers on how that goes, but it is a lot quicker than the nebulizer. We will be back in 6 weeks with a follow up and to tweak the medicine. Now we have a team of nurses/PA and our doctor to monitor the kiddos. Hopefully this will help a lot.

On another note.. I can't believe I have a niece who will be graduating from college this week. WOW- that is all I can say about that.

Easter

We had a great Easter Weekend. On Thursday, we started off with an Easter Party at Mt Pisgah and an Easter Egg Hunt. friday i took frances up to see nana. she had a great time. she knows that she is the center of attention and definitely works the room. Then on Saturday, we went to an easter egg hunt over with the cousins. frances filled her bag and then filled thomas and moved on to helping the cousins. she had a ridiculous amount of eggs, but thankfully they were mainly filled with stickers and fruit gummies. we headed to church on sunday (we finally made it back to jccc to see our new preacher randy- the kids had been sick for a few weeks and we had two baptisms so have been mia for 6 weeks). randy is a great preacher that we were very fortunate to get him up at john's creek. after church we went to lunch (christine's group and tom's fam joined us and the folks). we went home for the kids to nap and then off to boo and wildcats for dinner with rusty's sister and folks.

Right now miss frances is hopefully getting over the tummy bug. yep, took her to see aunt mary and she barfed all over the place. oops. she didn't throw up today, so hopefully she will be good tomorrow.

it has been a great, but long week. please keep my great aunt and mom in your prayers. my great aunt is nearing the end of her journey here and my mom has done a fantastic job taking care of her for the last 15 years.

she also has a basket filled with eggs...

Hey

I know it has been a while. More trips to the doctor. It looks like we are finally done with colds and now on to allergies. The kiddos go to the pulmonologists at the end of April.
Right now I am happy that I did not have to get shipped off to Indiana to become an Installation and Repair Tech II. Yep, I would be the one driving around in the bucket trucks, climbing ladders (that are hanging on telephone wires) and climbing poles to repair wirelines. Frightening for everyone involved- I was able to get a hardship because of the severity of the kids asthma so I am now assigned as a Facility Coordinator just around the corner. We will see if there is a strike by the union, but what I hear it might be next week. Looks like the building that I am assigned to is the headquarters for the Southeast so should be pretty busy.
Here are a few pics.
