All I can say is really............

Ok, today started out business as usual until I got an email from one of the Director's of Sales and our Regional Manager with an issue with one of the retail stores. Get this- AT&T (Formerly Bellsouth) disconnected our phone service from our AT&T Mobility store. Yep, AT&T cut off AT&T service to their own store. Awesome. They were also told they couldn't have their original numbers because they would have to set up new service. After dealing with billing as well as customer service (Yep, had to pay a new $500 deposit). It was turned on. The rep was able to place the ticket and call to the other side of the house to get it turned on immediately. Nope, not the end of the story- 4 hours later they cut it off again. I mean really! Luckily I had taken the guys internal info and could quickly get back to a rep. It seems they didn't override one thing in the system when they originally fixed all the lines they had turned off and because it was done so quickly it defaulted to their original estimated date of activation and would have automaticaly come back on the 2nd. It appears they got it right this time.......my fingers are still crossed. I guess this is definitely more exciting then dealing with leases, but who knows what will happen tomorrow.

Busy, busy

Rusty was a rock star last Friday so he and his band played down at East Andrews. Saturday we actually had a date night. We felt like adults (we took Rusty's car and went out for a nice dinner). I mean we usually just have to take the mini van and go to dinner at like 5:30. Thanks Kelley for hanging with the kiddos.

For the Holiday Weekend, we started Friday going out to dinner with my folks, my sister (Terri) and two of her girls were in town for my niece's graduation. Saturday we packed up the kids and ran over to Aunt Anne's house to celebrate some of Rusty's cousins' graduation. The kids love their house and had fun running around. We went home so the kids could nap and I went to pick up my sister, mom, and the girls so we could go to the mall. I came home to rescue Rusty (it is a fact that T is a momma's boy and tends to give his daddy a hard time). Sunday we ran to church and then on to my brother's house to celebrate my niece's graduation from high school. The kids had a blast playing outside and Frances went in the pool (Thomas has a great time eating a lot of watermelon). Since the kiddos get up so early we went over to my folks to hang before everyone headed back to Florida (yep, they were leaving early- 8 o'clock- it was nice when that was early). We actually made it to a neighborhood function. We took the wagon down to the pool for a b-b-que. Our pool was pretty packed (I guess the thought of burgers and a keg appeals to folks). As parents of the year, we fed Thomas a bag of doritos and more watermelon (I mean whatever keeps him happy). Back home for naps and then we went over to the Dills for the kids to play (it is nice having them in the neighborhood).

I still need to post stuff from Frances' b-day and Mother's Day, but I don't have my camera right now. Christine had a portrait party so we had more professional pics taken. All I can say is look at my little man's belly. He is only in the 20th percentile for weight and I imagine that is all in the belly.

Train Wreck and my big girl

Ok, I am beginning to think that Thomas takes after his daddy with just about everything. He already looks exactly like him (minus the dimples) and is showing more and more characteristics. Anytime anyone drops something or if something is out of place, dude man points to where it should go or brings it to the spot. He gets frustrated when things don't go the way he thinks they should (Rusty is definitely a planner and it kind of throws him when things are a little off- great, cause with two asthmatic kids that never happens).He never sits still and climbs on everything (I remember hearing a story about when Rusty was little that he climbed up on the outside of the escalator in Phipps). I watched Thomas put one foot on the stool tonight at the bathroom sink and then hold on to the sink and try to climb up the rest of the way (he has absolutely no fear). I am going to try to post a video of mr man. He appears to also act one way for me and one way for his daddy. He has started screaming (a happy scream) when he sees me. Thomas is also teething. We think four are coming in- hence the train wreck.

On another note, I can't believe Miss Frances is three tomorrow. Man time flies. She is the complete opposite of her brother. She will eat anything. Loves vegetables and is very easy going. The only time we even knew she was teething was when her four molars came in at once- ouch. We just made some cupcakes for her class tomorrow. I iced the cupcakes and she picked the sprinkles (and proceeded to pour a lot on the cupcakes and the plate so she could have some). I will post pictures of the b-day girl tomorrow.
