Another one down...

Ok, we tried, but T ended up with pink eye. I took him this morning (my doctor actually said he was going to give me one refill so when we got it we would have the medicine). Outlook not so good for the two of us, but we will keep our fingers crossed that we don't get the nastiness that is pink eye.

We have a busy week and a really busy weekend so hopefully everyone will be okay for the weekend.

I would like to say that Rusty took Frances on Saturday and she was "reading" a book to him. She was talking about the kid going to church, school and the bear hibernating (of course that is what every two year old talks about). Nothing like the kids being on their best behavior at the doctor's office. Thomas acts like an angel when he gets his ears checked or when they look in his mouth. He talks to everyone and acts like the perfect kid. It is ridiculous, but I guess when you clock in as much time as they do, you realize that the doctor isn't for shots, but to make you feel better (and a place that hands out stickers and lolly pops).

Update

Should have guessed- pink eye and an ear infection. Rusty is hanging in the basement with T and I have Frances in the living room. I am now washing my hands every few minutes. I occasionally feel a little itch in my eye (just what we need going through the house).

On a good note, Thomas and I did make it to Aunt Mary's and ran by the folks. I was supposed to be watching James so they could go to the Tech game. They dropped him off and about that time I had to call mom to come get him because it was confirmed she had pink eye. I also had to tell them they were no longer invited over for our usual Saturday night grill out. Oh well, I don't know why I thought we could go a week without heading to the doctor (at least this was just an ear infection and pink eye and nothing associated with the asthma).

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day

Ok today is a day that I didn't even celebrate until I had kids. I just still think it is a ridiculous holiday, but now Rusty and I at least celebrate it for the kids. Actually, we kind of did- we would watch basketball and order pizza. Yesterday, Frances had a party at school. Christine went to Ansley's room next door for her party. When we were leaving she said their room was quiet and the kids were sitting and eating and doing their party stuff. She said our room was like a frat party kids all over the place and loud. It is true- imagine 12 kids just as loud and that talk as much as Frances running around. Anyway, she left with a lot of candy. This morning we gave her a little gift from mommy and daddy. We were going to take her over to Great Aunt Mary's to bring her the stuffed animal we bought for her and some flowers for Grandma and Grandaddy. Of course, plans have changed. We are running to the doctor to see if she has pink eye or just a cold in her eye- awesome.

Here is a song she learned at school. Thomas loves his sister and just watches her (and dances when she sings).

Poor T

Back to the doctor yesterday. Thomas has a cold, was wheezing and has an ear infection. 4 prescriptions later we came home (I don't think the ear medicine is working) and we will. Awesome, we should all get a lot of sleep. Poor little guy.

I dropped Thomas off at Mom and Dad's with Peanut and then Frances went to school. Nothing like picking up your depressed dog. Yep, she loves it at my folks and hates leaving. It makes you feel real good after a long day. She finally decided she would leave (yep, had to put her on the leash to drag her to the car).

That's about it here. I really think I need to take the kids and Rusty to live in a bubble. I mean if you want to know why they are this way all you have to do is hear how great Rusty sounds right now.
