progressive dinner

We have a few busy weeks coming up here (March is always a busy month- hello basketball )... We have a bunch of birthday parties for Frances' friends and we even had a neighborhood progressive dinner. This is just with our street and two cul-de-sacs around us. It is pretty fun thing to do. We all start at one house and then you get your first assignment. There are about 4 or 5 "hosts" for soup/salad and about 10 additional folks go to a host family. After that is a main course (we happen to host this year) and then everyone meets up at a house for dessert. It seemed like a small crowd this year, we think maybe 40 folks or a little more. Anyway, we never use our dining room (in fact, it is usually just baby gated)so I took a picture with it set up because who knows when we will be in there again.
